Snorkeling Indonesia and Beach Trekking in Gili Labak, East Java and Karimunjawa, Central Java
Looking for a snorkeling Indonesia beach holiday? Something off-the-beaten-path snorkeling with beach trekking and homestays—or hotel lodging? Indonesia is reported to have 30% of the coral reefs and 35% of the reef fish species in the world. The water temperature in Indonesia averages 28-30°C (82-86°F).*
Both our snorkeling Indonesia tours are perfect before or after a Kalimantan orangutan tour (or other eco tour), the Indonesian part of Borneo. It is best from the end of February until September, as the weather is usually perfect for this type of touring. Please note, boat trips and snorkeling depend on the weather conditions.
Note: gili is the Indonesian word for small island.
